Dulce Maria
Dulce means candy or sweet in Spanish. In fact, Dulce is a sweet 6 years old girl who belongs to one of the programs that we support in Guatemala City. She lives along with her family in “Colonia Landivar”, one of the poorest areas in the city.
Her parents never married, and when she was born, they decided not being together anymore. Her mom walked away, and her dad took care of her for her first six
months of life. Unfortunately, he passed away leaving her alone in this world. One of her dad’s sisters decided to raise her as her own.
Dulce’s life has not been easy since her beginning. However, the Lord has taken care of her through many of his children like you, “
Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40 NIV
In spite of being underweight because of the situation that the whole family live in, she is a healthy, smart and very obedient active girl who loves attending the After School program of Manantial de Vida – one of the local organizations that we support thanks to your support.

Orphanhood
Mental and/or Physic Disabilities
